Managing Stress and Anxiety in the Workplace


Course Overview

This course explores the topic of stress and anxiety in the workplace and why it is so important for businesses to consider employee wellbeing.

As our workloads continue to expand and the pressures of work and home life continue to grow, levels of stress and anxiety are on the increase.

1 in 4 of us will experience a mental health condition during our lives and depression is an increasing mental health concern for many people.


The aim of this course is to provide the learner with the ability to understand, identify and address stress and anxiety reducing the likelihood of it escalating into something much more serious.

On completion of this course learners will be able to:

  • Identify the common causes of workplace stress
  • Understand how employers can deal with the cause of stress and anxiety in the workplace
  • Explain some of the coping mechanisms that are in place to deal with the impact of stress


This course will take approximately 90 minutes to complete.
